Crocheting Miracle

Tanjiro Crochet Pattern

SHARE

Tanjiro amigurumi crochet pattern is here on Crochethea blog! While Demon Slayer season 4 is currently showing, I’m so excited to make amigurumi from the characters. I will try my best to pay off the debt for the few months of not crocheting.

Just like my other amigurumi patterns, Tanjiro crochet pattern is basically quite simple. The part that is quite challenging is the coat. You have to pay attention to the color changes. I’ve made a chart to make the coat, hope it helps.

You can read Tanjiro crochet pattern FREE in this post. The printable PDF crochet pattern is available to purchase on my Blog Shop, Etsy, Ravelry, and Ko-fi Shop.

You may want to crochet other characters from Demon Slayer, check the patterns in THIS LINK. You can also read other anime crochet patterns I’ve made HERE. I’ll always be adding new anime crochet pattern, so stay tuned!

I hope you like the pattern. Have fun!

Notes

Tanjiro amigurumi is about 8.5 cm (3.35 inches) tall.
I used small ply Balinese cotton yarn (sport yarn, #2 Fine) and Tulip hook no. 3 (2.25 mm).
The similar yarn you can use is Schachenmayr Catania (100% cotton; 50 g (1.8 oz); 125 m (137 yds)).
Its size may vary according to the materials you used.

Materials

Sport yarns:
– beige, black, white, green, maroon, brown

Assembling

  1. Put on the coat to the body. Sew the upper coat to the body.
  2. Sew the arms to the coat.
  1. Put hair onto the head. Use pins to arrange the position of the hair. S1, S2, S8, and S9 as the side hair, S3-7 as the bangs. Bend the bangs back at the hairline, arrange them neatly. If you are pleased with the position, glue or sew the hair cap. Glue the side hair. Glue the bangs.
