I made this jellyfish amigurumi pattern years ago and did a few revisions after that. In this pattern the upper and lower part don’t need to be sewn.
Before wrote down the pattern I made some research about jellyfish anatomy. I got the information that the part which hanging down from the center are oral arms, I wrote as arms in this pattern. And surrounding the arms are tentacles, at the margin of the bell or body.

- sc = single crochet
- inc = increase (2 sc per stitch)
- dec = decrease (sc across two stitches)
- hdc = half double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- flo = front loop only
- blo = back loop only

Round 2: *inc* 6 times (12)
Round 3: *1 sc, inc * 6 times (18)
Round 4: *2 sc, inc * 6 times (24)
Round 5: *3 sc, inc * 6 times (30)
Round 6-10: sc around, 5 rounds (30)
Round 11: *dec, 3 sc* 6 times (24)
Round 12: *dec, 2 sc* 6 times (18)
Stuff as you go
Round 13: *dec, 1 sc* 6 times (12)
Round 14: 1 ch, flo 3 hdc inc in next stitch, *4 hdc inc* repeat 11 times, sl st at beginning ch (48)
Round 1: blo above round 13 *dec* repeat 6 times, sl st.
Round 2: sc, 35 ch, sc at 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc inc in next ch, 2 ch, sl st at the edge of sc, *inc, inc, 2 ch, sl st at the edge of sc* repeat to the last ch, sl st in next stitch.
Make 2 more jellyfish arms and close the bottom as you go.
Knot yarn and attach at the body margin, 30 ch, f/o. Make 7 more tentacles.
