This free Koya amigurumi crochet pattern of BT21 character I dedicate to all ARMY around the world. Even though I’m not an ARMY myself, I also like K-Pop including BTS. I used to listen to K-Pop and love watching them dance.
BT21 was originally released in September 2017 when BTS officially teamed up with the chat messenger app Line. Line released a special BTS-themed sticker with the name BT21. In total, there are 8 BT21 characters created by BTS members.
The character of Koya was created by the leader of BTS, RM. RM loves koala because they are adorable. Like the leader, Koya is very smart and talented. Koya is dubbed the sleep machine because he really likes to sleep.
The other BT21 character that I made is Cooky. Check out Cooky BT21 crochet pattern HERE.
I plan to make all amigurumi of BT21 characters. Wait for it..
Crocheting Koya for me is quite challenging because of its small size, especially the arms and tail. If you are not used to making small-sized amigurumi, you can try this Koya crochet pattern because the pattern is quite simple and there is no color change.
